Loren E. Mallory, Ph.D, ABPP

As a board certified clinical neuropsychologist, as well as a licensed clinical psychologist, Dr. Mallory provides evaluations and treatment for those with head traumas, strokes or ischemic attacks, neurodegenerative disorders and dementias, other neurological conditions, and neurodevelopmental disorders, ADHD, or learning disorders. Dr. Mallory also provides general counseling and clinical services to WVFC clients.

Neuropsychological Services include testing & evaluation and therapeutic services.  Neuropsychologists use tests to measure attention & concentration, memory, language functions, visual spatial skills, motor skills, and “executive” skills (organization and planning), combine test scores with current symptoms and medical history, and make inferences about brain and neurological functioning.  Therapeutic services include psychotherapy and cognitive therapy to cope with such conditions, and cognitive rehabilitation techniques.  Common neuropsychological issues include:
